UX Optimization Retainer

Analytics, heatmaps and session recordings, read every cycle and acted on. Conversion and retention move release by release, instead of in one big redesign that lands and never gets measured.

How the optimization retainer works

Rather than relying on assumptions, our Product Designer works alongside your Product Owner or internal team to monitor how users interact with your product, identify friction points, and continuously optimize the experience based on real user behavior.

During the engagement, we implement and review UX analytics, analyze user behavior, and run continuous optimization cycles to improve conversion, engagement, retention, and overall usability.

UX Optimization Retainer

This retainer is a good fit if

Improve your UX
  • Your product is already live and you want to optimize it based on real user behavior rather than assumptions.

  • You have active users and enough traffic to collect meaningful product metrics, user feedback, and usability insights.

  • You want to understand how users interact with your product through analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and user interviews.

  • You're looking to improve conversion, retention, engagement, or reduce churn through continuous UX optimization.

  • You're a startup preparing to scale or an established company looking to continuously improve an existing product.

  • You need an ongoing UX partner who can monitor performance, identify opportunities, and recommend data-driven improvements.

  • You want to establish a continuous optimization process instead of conducting one-time UX audits.

  • You already have a Product Owner, Product Manager, or technical lead and want to complement your team with dedicated UX expertise.

As a result

What each release cycle brings

  • Setting up and reviewing UX and product analytics.

  • Analysis of user behavior, user flows, funnels, and drop-off points.

  • Heatmap and session recording analysis.

  • Identification of usability issues based on real user data.

  • UX recommendations driven by analytics rather than assumptions.

  • A/B testing planning and evaluation.

  • Continuous UX improvements and design refinements based on test results.

  • Regular collaboration with your Product Owner, Product Manager, or technical team to prioritize and implement improvements.

F.A.Q.

We focus on digital products with real complexity: fintech, CRM, marketing and SEO tools, MedTech, EdTech, PropTech, and AI-based apps, across both web and mobile. If your product has heavy logic and multi-step flows, it is squarely in our wheelhouse.

Start with the problem, not the deliverable. If a single flow is underperforming, a Workflow UX audit is enough. If retention is dropping across the whole product, a Deep product UX audit finds the root cause. Not sure? Book a call and we will point you to the smallest engagement that solves your problem.

We can, but we rarely recommend it. The analytics stage is where we turn assumptions into evidence, and skipping it means designing in the dark. If you already have solid research, we will review it and move straight to design; if you do not, a short discovery pays for itself.

It depends on how wide the problem is. Choose a Workflow UX audit for one specific journey, a Deep product UX audit when the whole product is losing users with no clear cause, and a Product heuristic evaluation when you need a fast expert read before committing to a larger project.

Timelines depend on scope, but most audits take one to three weeks, and a full product design engagement runs from a few weeks to a couple of months. After a short scoping call we give you a concrete timeline before any work starts.

We use AI to move faster without cutting corners: accelerating research synthesis, exploring more design directions early, and automating the repetitive parts of delivery. Every decision that reaches your product is still made by a senior designer.
